Budget LCD modules are "ready to use"
In answer to the budget restrictions placed on many designs which require an LCD, Densitron has introduced a standard range of "ready-to-use" displays based on the popular SED1575 chip.
In answer to the budget restrictions placed on many designs which require an LCD, Densitron has introduced a standard range of "ready-to-use" displays based on the popular SED1575 chip Using TAB technology with the controller already in place, the connection to the host equipment is enabled via a ZIF (zero insertion force) socket
The combination of these two important developments has resulted in a dramatic lowering of production costs and allow the OEMs to significantly reduce their "time to market".
Densitron claims it can now offer lead times of just four weeks from its Chinese manufacturing facility.
