DEK recently held the first of a series of special European 'user groups' at its Weymouth facility Aimed at bringing DEK customers up to date with the latest developments in products and screen printing strategies and methodologies, the user groups will soon be rolled out across Europe

The first group, which took place over one and a half days, covered DEK's award-winning ProFlow platform.

With a mixture of presentations from DEK specialists, demonstrations of different uses, and workshops in which customers could 'get their hands dirty', the group was a great success with all delegates.

All the presentations used during the sessions are available on the DEK website so that those unable to attend can access the information.

The ProFlow user group covered a number of issues and technologies relevant to users of the system.

Following an introduction from John Knowles, DEK's CEO.

Product updates and information on how to get the most from ProFlow on the first day were complemented by demonstrations of DirEKt ball placement, paste printing, adhesive printing and ink printing.

After an evening social event, the second day gave delegates the chance to attend workshops investigating tooling, pin-in-paste, best working practice and issues affecting ProFlow DirEKt imaging.
