DEK has been named as the sole distributor for the MicroStencil product range in Asia and the Americas.
"Over the last 4 years, DEK has made significant investments in our logistics infrastructure, manufacturing capabilities and product R and D", says Michael Brianda, European General Manager for DEK Process Support Products.
"It is very gratifying to see the fruits of our efforts - the 75,000th stencil shipment of 2004".
DEK manufactures a full range of stencils and screens, including laser-cut, additive, PumpPrint, electroformed and VectorGuard stencils for a variety of applications.
The frameless VectorGuard system has been one of the most successful product introductions in the stencil marketplace, gaining quick acceptance and market penetration.
The user-friendliness, easy handling and storage and quick turnaround time for users, makes the VectorGuard system, which is now also available with interchangeable PumpPrint and electroformed stencils, one of the most cost-effective stencil solutions for today's electronics manufacturers.
Electroformed stencils from DEK are also gaining high-visibility as manufacturers transition to lead-free manufacturing and finer-pitch assemblies.
The precision of the Eform stencils and the smooth, trapezoidal aperture sidewalls, allow for improved paste release for some of the more challenging lead-free material formulations.
"The technology and staff expertise that back up our market-leading stencil products are what set us apart from others in the field", says Neil MacRaild, Americas General Manager for DEK Process Support Products.
"We thank our customers for their continued support as we move into 2005 and what we anticipate will be another growth year for our stencil products".
