DEK, will display its latest equipment, consumables and stencil technology at Nepcon East on 4th and 5th May 2005 in Boston, Massachusetts Exhibiting its leading Horizon printing platform, complete with the Instinctiv user interface and the latest advancements in stencil technology, including the innovative VectorGuard frame mounted stencil system, DEK will again confirm the company's leadership in complete preplacement solutions

The Horizon 01i printing system is the optimum high-speed solution designed to meet diverse assembly challenges.

With full process capability Cpk 2.0 at +/-25um, DEK's Horizon 01i enables high-mix and high-volume manufacturing at cycle times of 10 seconds for maximum throughput.

Fully equipped with the Instintiv user interface, the system takes operator assistance and ease of use to a new level by providing simple, graphical indicators for everything from solvent and paste levels, setup help and error recovery.

DEK's award-winning VectorGuard system is also compatible with the Horizon 01i and will be on display at the upcoming event along with DEK's full line of consumables, tooling and advanced stencil technologies.

The VectorGuard frame mounted stencil system eliminates the need for a loading jig and allows for easy alignment of stencil to frame with a simple foot pedal operation.

The foils are surrounded by a thin aluminium extrusion, which enhances operator safety and provides for easier handling.

Unlike other frame mounted systems which often lose tension over time, VectorGuard's unique design assures that uniform tension will be maintained for the life of the product.

The system is also environmentally friendly, effectively eliminating the need for stencil frame recycling.

"DEK's unique approach to mass imaging solutions - providing all of the tools including technologically advanced stencils, unique tooling and fixtures, consumables and sophisticated screen printing systems - has made us the 'go to' company for materials deposition expertise", says Craig Brown, Americas General Manager for DEK USA.

"We are excited about the opportunity to discuss our total customer delight philosophy and show our market-leading product offerings at the upcoming Nepcon show".

Nepcon/Assembly East will take place from 3rd to 5th May at the New Boston Convention and Exposition Center.

Visitors to the show can view the DEK Horizon 01i and demonstrations of VectorGuard on Booth 1010.
