Tooling and stencils show up with
Assembleon
Assembleon's recent customer roadshow highlighted new equipment from the SMT placement equipment manufacturer combined with selected tooling and stencil options from DEK.
DEK's San Jose office provided the venue for Assembleon's recent customer roadshow, aimed at highlighting new equipment from the SMT placement equipment manufacturer, in addition to presenting selected tooling and stencil options from DEK The San Jose roadshow was held from 1st to 3rd November 2005, and formed part of Assembleon's US-wide tour with its AX and MG machine lines

In the main demonstration room, DEK showcased the Horizon 01i high accuracy mass imaging machine.
With full process capability meeting Cpk 2.0 at +/-25um, Horizon is able to offer comprehensive functionality for continuous high-throughput preplacement.
Consequently, the demonstration positioned Horizon 01i as the ideal complement to pick and place technologies, such as those offered by Assembleon.
The DEK display also addressed the impact of the forthcoming transition to lead-free on today's manufacturers.
DEK representatives were on hand to distribute literature and advice to visitors looking to meet the 2006 deadline.
The roadshow attracted a wide range of customers from across the electronics industry, with attendance levels surpassing initial expectations.
Targeted at building awareness of both Assembleon and DEK's product range, the event proved to be an effective forum for key decision makers to investigate SMT placement machines, and the technologies designed to advance pick and place performance.
