The latest card-to-board interfaces from Deltron Roxburgh bring enhanced alignment and added mechanical strength to PCMCIA and CompactFlash applications.

The latest card-to-board interfaces from Deltron Roxburgh bring enhanced alignment and added mechanical strength to PCMCIA and CompactFlash applications Manufactured by one of the distributor's newest franchises, Samtec, the PCMT and CFT series headers feature an exclusive solder lock design that ensures accurate alignment of the connector to the board during the solder process

After soldering, the lock provides additional mechanical strength.

For CompactFlash designs, the CFT headers mate with CFS series sockets, offering 50 hot-pluggable pins in polarisation configurations that conform to CompactFlash specifications.

Headers accept a 50.8mm (2in) card length and either 0.8 or 1.6mm boards.

PCMCIA applications are met by 68-pin PCMT headers mating with PCMS sockets, both providing 68-pins in hot-pluggable configurations.

1, 2 and 3in card lengths are accepted by the header, which accepts 0.8 or 1.6mm boards.

Both types of header are offered for right-angle through-hole mounting, and are available from Deltron Roxburgh in standard or elevated profiles.

The CFT series offers additional surface mount options.
