Liaison committee gets ready for 42nd
DAC
The Design Automation Conference has revealed the makeup of the new Exhibitor Liaison Committee (ELC) for the 42nd DAC to be held in Anaheim, California, from 13th to 17th June 2005.

The committee's role is to facilitate communication between the DAC management and executive committee and the exhibitors, allowing exhibitors an opportunity to provide feedback and make suggestions to help build on the value and success of DAC to EDA vendors and conference delegates.
The committee reviews all areas of the conference, including operations, programme and exhibits.
Over the years, the ELC has been instrumental in guiding significant changes through the years, including the adoption of combined booth/demo-suite space implemented in 2003.
Chairing this year's ELC is the EDA Industry Chair, Limor Fix of Intel.
Other members include: Jana Burke, Mentor Graphics; Donna Castillo, Cadence Design Systems; Ric Chope, Verisity Design; Larry Eberle, Synopsys; Tom Minot; Steve Pollock, Beach Solutions; Gabe Moretti, EDN Reed Business; Mindy Powers, CoWare; and Dave Reed, Blaze DFM.
Also participating are Michelle Clancy, Cayenne Communications, and this year's DAC Executive Committee Chair, William H Joyner, Jr, IBM Corp/SRC and other members of the DAC Executive Committee, including Nanette Collins, Nanette V Collins Marketing and Public Relations and Lee Wood, MP Associates.
"Our role as the ELC is to provide feedback and direction that supports DAC's long-standing tradition as the key annual conference serving the electronics design community", said Limor Fix, DAC Exhibitor Liaison Committee Chair.
"By working together and with the DAC Executive Committee, we can continue to impact the ongoing success of this conference which is so critical to our global design community".
