Deutsch offers a space- and cost-saving over-moulded alternative to its traditional boot and adapter back fittings, while also maintaining environmental sealing and strain relief.
This dedicated range of hermetically sealed fuel-tank connectors provides a high degree of performance where normal connectors would fail.
The range features a stainless-steel shell finish for improved corrosion resistance and is able to operate between temperatures of -65 and +200C.
Furthermore, the PT connector's glass seal can withstand pressure differentials of 1000lb/in2 without the loss of electrical performance or fluid leakage.
The resilience of the PT range is achieved through the use of glass to metal sealing in place of traditional plastic and elastomer inserts.
In addition, a Viton O-ring provides a high standard of sealing between the connector and the bulkhead.
A titanium version for lightweight applications is also available.
