Backlit module has slimline appeal

Digital Displays has used compact chip on glass technology to create a new 64 x 240 module which is only 6.5mm in depth.

Giving designers more flexibility when designing liquid crystal displays into compact handheld or portable equipment, Digital Displays has used compact chip on glass (CCOG) technology to create a new 64 x 240 module which is only 6.5mm in depth Despite this exceptionally slim aspect, the 64240A module includes an LED backlight providing a luminance of 100cd/m2

Operating from a 3V supply, the display offers a choice of yellow/green, grey and blue mode STN.

Other standard features include a wide viewing angle, high contrast ratio and a wide operating temperature of -20 to +70C.

Measuring 144.90 x 56.40 x 6.5mm, the module is also available with a four wire analogue resistive 0.7mm glass touch panel. Request a free brochure from GPEG International ...
