Touch monitors put it all in one

The AIO series of open frame touch monitors is designed to reduce the complexity of integration for the OEM by providing true plug-and-play functionality.

Fiducia International has announced the availability of its range of all-in-one (AIO) open frame touch monitors, specifically designed with gaming terminal manufacturers in mind With the arrival of more and more graphically driven and complex games on the market, the need for vivid, yet easy to use colour screens has never been more in demand

The all-in-one touch (AIO) display series is aimed at reducing the complexity of integration for the OEM by providing true plug-and-play functionality.

This combines full VESA DDC 1/2B compatibility on the video signal, easy to integrate mechanical construction and low cost versions of both resistive and surface acoustic wave (SAW) touch inputs.

"When we listen to the customer base there has been considerable interest in reducing the costs of integration in this area", said Nick How, CEO of Fiducia International.

"By taking this headache away from the OEM, problems such a dust ingress, ever-changing panel mounting holes and mismatched touch panels are eliminated".

"We have also been able to work closely with several vendors on both the panels supply side and the touch panel side to combine the very latest in wide-angle, ultra-fast-response-speed TFTs to ensure customers are always getting the most up-to-date products in this fast moving environment without getting caught out with obsolete stocks".

An example in the AIO range is the 19in XGA OF190SAW.

The product features a fully hardened 6mm thick surface acoustic wave touch panel, dust proof bonded to a high brightness (250cd/m2), XGA TFT.

The panel displays 16.7M colours at 500:1 contrast ratio.

The unit is mounted in a rigid metal housing measuring 452 x 366.5 x 51mm.

Simple on-screen display menus allow for rapid setup with support for both Windows and Linux based touch screen drivers. Request a free brochure from GPEG International ...
