Manufactured by Aaeon, the PCM-8500 is one of the first single board Pentium 4 solutions available in the compact 5.75 x 8in form factor Based on Intel's integrated 82845GV system chipset, the PCM-8500 offers a choice of processors to meet the highest performance Intel Pentium 4 Platform applications in today's industrial markets

Powered by Pentium 4 Mobile processor-M up to 2.4GHz or Pentium 4/Celeron processor up to 3.06GHz, PCM-8500 also provides high memory capacities, with up to 1Gbyte of DDR266/333MHz memory.

In addition to its powerful computing engine, the full function design includes features such as integrated 2D/3D graphics engine with AGP 4X bandwidth that delivers super graphic performance without additional cost on the graphics controller.

Six high-speed I/O devices up to 480Mbit/s USB 2.0 provide an expandable, Plug and Play serial interface that ensures a standard low-cost connection for peripheral devices.

Industrial applications will benefit from the USB 2.0 ports via pin headers, offering efficiency and value without compromising performance.

The other functions include onboard 10/100Mbit/s Ethernet, Mini PCI slot, PCI slot, Compact Flash slot, and optional PCMCIA slot.

Excellent LCD performance is provided via digital output which supports up to 48bit dual channel LVDS TFT LCDs, with simultaneous display and dual view functions.

At the same time, TV-out for both NTSC and Pal gives great display implementation flexibilities.
