The COM-915 has been developed specifically to offer both users and manufacturers maximum flexibility, with inherent time to market benefits over a fully customised platform.
A unique display support mechanism delivers exceptional overall touch stability and a market-flexible feature set enables consistent performance across numerous applications.
A display adjustment and locking system located in the monitor base is simple to use and ensures that a fixed, rigid display angle is maintained during use.
The display angle is adjustable from five degrees beyond the vertical to a full ninety degrees off vertical (parallel with mounting surface) enabling the display to be mounted on horizontal or vertical surfaces without modification, disassembly or third party hardware.

Martin Whitehead, Marketing Manager at Display Solutions said: "The M170 monitor is ideal for specifiers looking to source a robust, high quality touch screen solution for use in a range of environments including facilities management, hospitality, retail or emergency control rooms".
"Along with the latest 3M product innovation, Display Solutions can advise its customers on driver devices, interfaces and additional compatible peripherals to help ensure that installation is achievable in the quickest time possible, with minimal disruption and system downtime".
"We expect there to be significant demand for this addition to our range".
The M170 monitor also includes new features including the peripheral attachment system which enables attachment of market specific peripherals including card and fingerprint readers.
Unlike competing units, which use embedded components, the M170 monitor can be field-configured for maximum flexibility with the customer's choice of off-the-shelf peripherals of their brand and technology preference.
Integral moulded channels and cable management in the monitor case conceal peripheral cables for a clean, finished appearance.
The system also allows for quick, on-site replacement of non-functional peripherals minimising down time and spare inventory requirements.
The M170 touch monitor utilises a high quality active matrix TFT LCD display that delivers 400cd/m2 brightness and a 450:1 contrast ratio, ensuring superior image quality.
An auto-detecting DVI-I video input connection receives both analogue and digital video signal.
Other features include hardware-lockable on-screen-display controls, fully concealed cable connections, cable management, a base-enclosed power supply and full multimedia capability.
3M's top of the range M170 touch monitor is based on the sophisticated, exclusive MicroTouch EXII electronics set and is available with MicroTouch-brand five-wire resistive or 3M MicroTouch ClearTek capacitive touch technologies.
