CompactPCI franchise fills gap in range
Diamond Point International has signed an exclusive UK and Ireland distribution deal with Inova Computers of Kaufbeuren, Germany.
Diamond Point International has signed a distribution agreement with Inova Computers of Kaufbeuren, Germany for the exclusive UK distribution of the company's extensive range of high-quality 3U CompactPCI products Inova Computers designs and manufactures a wide range of rugged, fault-tolerant, low power or high performance, 3U and 4U CompactPCI and CompactPCI Express embedded industrial solutions

This agreement with Inova marks an important step in the 24 year growth and development of Diamond Point.
It comes at a time when the company is moving to a new 450m2 facility at Medway City Estate, Rochester, Kent, which represents a two-fold expansion in sise over the previous premises.
An appreciable investment in design software will enable the new facility to provide significantly improved configuration facilities to support in-house baseboard design as well as custom chassis.
This capability extends to the in-house design and manufacture of a completely new range of innovative, user-friendly and highly flexible embedded computer systems based on open standards.
Via its much enhanced facilities, Diamond Point's engineering teams will be able to fully integrate in-house a wide variety of own-brand and value-added distributed hardware products.
Combined with a full software capability, the company will now be even better placed to offer total system solutions to its OEM and system integrator customers.
The company's core-computing hardware technologies include ETX, PC/104, DIMM-PC, PCMCIA, PC/industrial PC, VME and now CompactPCI.
Its portfolio of core modules encompasses communication products based on a host of bus types, including PCI, ISA, PCMCIA, and USB as well as digital and analogue I/O.
The company focuses on Windows, Linux, LynxOS and VX-Works software for critical real-time applications.
