Digi-Key Corp and Excelsys Technologies have signed a global distribution agreement.

Excelsys designs and manufactures innovative switch-mode power supplies for a variety of specialty markets, including medical process and diagnostics, wireless communications, IT, industrial automation, audio, broadcast and data networks.

This new distribution agreement with Excelsys will allow Digi-Key to provide its customers with custom power solutions without the standard lead-time of a custom supply.

If desired, customers can also assemble the units themselves.

Digi-Key stocks Excelsys powerPacs of various power ratings along with an assortment of powerMods for the powerPacs.

With this distribution agreement, Digi-Key will be able to fulfil both the design and production quantity requirements of its diverse customer base.

"With an efficiency of 90%, the modular AC/DC power family is sized for 100-1200W in a 40.5mm height to 1 to 12 output voltages precisely set to any level in the range of 1.5-58V DC".
