Global distribution agreement for Cyclone II PCI Express development kit

Digi-Key has signed a global distribution agreement with Knott Systems.

One of the world's fastest growing distributors of electronic components, Digi-Key will serve as a distributor for Knott System's Cyclone II PCI Express development kit.

This development board provides a hardware platform for developing and prototyping PCI Express, double data rate 2 (DDR2) SDRAM and the 10/100/1000Mbit/s Ethernet interface.

Based on Cyclone II FPGAs and using Altera MegaCore functions on the user's own IP, the Cyclone II EP2C35 PCI Express development board allows users to solve design problems that typically require time-consuming and custom solutions quickly.

The development kit will be featured in both Digi-Key's print and online catalogues.

"We are very pleased to add Knott Systems to our line card", says Mark Larson, Digi-Key's President and COO.

"We are certain that the features of this development kit will be of consequential interest and appeal to design engineers around the globe".
