Module cuts the cost of upgrade to TFT

A Display Technology product story
Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Aug 9, 2006

Low-cost small-format TFT module is excellent for replacing monochrome or colour STN LCD modules to add value to an end product at little extra cost.

With large format TFTs falling in price why are people still paying so much for small size QVGA TFTs from the likes of NEC, Hitachi, Kyocera and Toshiba?.

The reason was people were not aware there was a low cost alternative from Display Technology - but now they do in the shape of the T050Q1-D1.

And you do not even have to pay extra for the backlight inverter which you do from the other companies.

The new module is excellent for replacing monochrome or colour STN LCD modules to add value to an end product at little extra cost.

The T050Q1-D1 module has already been designed in and adopted by one Display Technology customer, a famous household global industrial brand that rivals the likes of Siemens, Hewlett Packard, Texas Instruments etc It flew through all tests including EMC and gave the customer the best value for money QVGA TFT it had tried (and it had tried them all).

With its global manufacturing bases Display Technology used its offices and warehouse facilities in UK, Europe and Asia to optimise the logistics delivery.
