DSP Design has a new LaunchPad PC/104 application development kit for Windows CE.NET Windows CE.NET is a robust, real-time operating system for rapidly building the next generation of smart devices

It offers reliable core services for efficient development of the most demanding, real-time embedded designs across a wide range of hardware.

This new LaunchPad, known as LP400NET, includes a Windows CE.NET pre-configured operating system for the target hardware and boots CE.NET at switch on.

This saves weeks, if not months, of development time allowing users to start application development immediately.

The Windows CE.NET operating system is configured to provide virtually everything that the user is likely to need but if subsequent changes are required DSP Design can create a new version at a cost far lower than would be incurred by an in-house development programme.

LaunchPad includes a PC/104 processor board, a Compact Flash card preloaded with the Windows CE.NET operating system, a copy of Microsoft Embedded Visual Tools, full documentation and sample software plus necessary hardware accessories - all supplied in a smart laptop carrying case.
