Datalight FlashFX, ROM-DOS and Sockets have been selected by DSP Design for its Launch Pad development kit.
The Launch Pad is a family of development kits that provides customers with an integrated hardware/software development environment, delivered ready and waiting to install their application.
The integration of high functionality PC hardware with Datalight system software components means customers can start evaluating and developing new products much faster, increasing their competitive edge.
DSP Design will be offering the Launch Pad preinstalled with Datalight FlashFX and Datalight ROM-DOS with integrated Sockets TCP/IP stack.
Software development tools, sample applications and documentation are included, all customised for the target hardware.
"Datalight FlashFX is the software leader for resident flash media management, and ROM-DOS with Sockets offers a stable Internet-ready platform for embedded systems", said Charles Palmer, Technical Director, DSP Design.
"We've taken care of the tools so customers can focus on their applications development".
Every LaunchPad contains a PC/104 processor board, I/O connectors, power supply, mouse, Compact Flash adapter, operating system CD, technical manuals and utility software, and a Compact Flash card preloaded with the Datalight ROM-DOS operating system.
