Arcom Control Systems has integrated Datalight FlashFX into its Windows CE development kit.

The Arcom Windows CE development kit is a comprehensive set of hardware and software tools that enable developers to quickly bring to market 32bit Windows CE based smart devices.

The Arcom Windows CE development kit is being used in Microsoft Windows CE training classes and university development programs.

Using this kit allows developers to focus their efforts on developing rich applications for their Windows powered devices.

"Arcom chose FlashFX because it is a low cost, highly reliable Flash media manager that easily integrates into a broad range of single board computer designs using different underlying flash technology", said Glen Middleton, VP of Engineering for Arcom in Cambridge, UK.

"FlashFX integrated well with our standard Windows CE run time platform allowing Arcom and its customers to rapidly introduce new Windows CE-based products into the industrial market".
