New surface mount RPC chip resistors from Dubilier bring down the cost of high performance passives for telecom, computing, consumer technology and many other products, and are available from stock.

Using Dubilier's wide range of industry standard package types can save its passives customers up to 50%.

RPC resistors are available in 2512, 2010 and smaller packages down to 0402 with the larger components withstanding maximum overload voltage up to 400V.

Power and operating voltage characteristics range from 0.0625W and 25V to 1W and 200V and the range of standard resistance values covers 1ohm to 10Mohm.

Package heights range from 0.35mm for the 0402, to 0.55mm for 1206 and larger packages.

Tolerance options are +/-5 or 1%, with high stability of 50ppm (1% tolerance available in 0603, 0805 and 1206 case sizes).

High mechanical strength, stability and reliability, as well as strong high frequency performance makes the RPC range suitable for high performance industrial and commercial equipment.

The devices are suitable for automatic placement, and are compatible with reflow and flow soldering processes.

Termination metallurgy is designed to maximise solderability, and all components are tested for terminal strength, solderability, vibration performance and resistance to solder heat.
