Power semiconductor materials focus of trade show
At the 37th International Symposium on Microelectronics November 16-18, 2004, Indiumıs exhibit will focus on Power Semiconductor Materials, such as Solder Wire, Solder Preforms and Solder Paste.
For a number of years Datum Alloys has supplied specialist alloys according to quality systems that had been developed internally.
However, the company realised the demand from potential and existing customers to become accredited to ISO9001:2000.
In February 2002 Brian Lewis organised the registration process for two BSI management systems, ISO9001:2000 and ISO14001:1996.
In late January 2003, an intensive registration audit was conducted and full registration compliance was issued on 20th February 2003 with the official presentation held on 16th May.
According to Datum Alloys Managing Director Ben Scott, "Our dedicated workforce, has always been totally committed to quality and it is the key to our long term success.
Through working with BSI, Datum Alloys is delighted to be able to offer our customers not only superior quality in alloys and service, but a service recognised by a world class quality management system".
The company has also implemented a quality manual for BSI EN ISO14001:1996 in preparation for achieving the environmental standard and is in the final stages of completion.
