Duraswitch has executed a nonexclusive licence agreement with Printec Electronics.

Printec's base in Taiwan, and new facility in China, bring greater exposure for Duraswitch's patented electronic switch technologies in Southeast Asia and establish a source for low-cost contract manufacturing for OEMs worldwide.

"We are pleased that Printec sees the value our technology offers, and sought out the opportunity to license it directly.

Printec is already a supplier for the appliance industry in China.

This partnership offers excellent exposure for our technologies to one of our top target markets", stated Tim Kuhn, Vice President, Business Development for Duraswitch.

"Our mission is to be the best resource for design, engineering and production", said Bob Galvin Jr, President of Printec.

"We first invested in manufacturing technology to be as automated as possible.

We have high-quality equipment and facilities and have been able to fine-tune the production process.

The next step is to invest in technology by partnering with companies like Duraswitch".

Currently a supplier to global leaders in appliance and telecommunications, Printec's key markets for future growth include consumer electronics, industrial equipment and medical devices.

Kuhn added, "In addition to the synergies in our target markets, another important piece of this partnership is the access to Printec's state-of-the-art production facility in Taiwan for low-cost contract manufacturing.

The Donguan, China facility opening in June will provide even greater production capacity to support volume production".
