DV3's latest quarter-VGA display offers the benefits of easy readability in all environments combined with cost-effective production technology.

Using a novel combination of large LCD screen size and selectable LED backlight colour, DV3's latest quarter-VGA display offers the benefits of easy readability in all environments combined with cost-effective production technology.

The DV6000 offers a full 320 x 240pixel array with 4bit interface in a package of 160 x 109mm.

Viewing area is a substantial 122 x 92mm (5.7in) and dot pitch is 0.36mm.

Using a direct serial interface to the drivers gives system designers the flexibility to connect directly to SoC devices with built in video control, such as ARM devices, saving on cost and reducing complexity.

The unit can be configured with high-efficiency white, blue, green or yellow/green LED or long-life higher brightness CFL backlighting to suit industrial applications and styling requirements.

By offering such a wide selection of colours as standard product engineers can afford to be creative in their ideas for new concept products.

Suitable for applications such as e-phones, medical, audio, industrial or internet devices alike the DV6000 is easy to integrate with its single +5V input voltage and matching interface card with built-in graphics controller.
