Low cost of ownership and high efficiency are the hallmarks of the new BlueWave 50 UV spot curing system.

Low cost of ownership and high efficiency are the hallmarks of the new BlueWave 50 UV spot curing system from Dymax This durable light source is easy to use for both benchtop assembly and lab evaluation, and is low maintenance, with a two-year warranty and a 2kh lamp warranty

Lamp life expectancy is 4kh, making the BlueWave 50 exceptionally economical.

With an intensity of up to 3000mW/cm2 and broad spectrum output in the UVA and blue light spectrum, the BlueWave 50 is powerful enough to cure most UV adhesives in less than 10s.

The BlueWave 50 is recommended for use in manual applications or may be mounted for automated processes.

It is perfect for medical disposable devices, electronic assembly and other industrial spot curing applications.

The BlueWave 50 maximises UV output and minimises IR for fast, high quality surface curing, while reducing the risk of component overheating.

A range of lightguides is available.

The unit is equipped with a visual light indicator, light guide locking mechanism, hour meter and digital LCD timer.

The digital shutter timer can be activated manually by footswitch or by PLC for greater process flexibility.

The prefocused lamp reflector ensures maximum output with every lamp change, a process which can take less than a minute, minimising downtime and maximising throughput.
