Edac has combined the well-known benefits of the hermaphroditic Edacon contact design with a cost-effective insulator that is common for both plug and receptacle.
Edac (Europe) Managing Director Andy King explained: "Edac has earned a reputation for ultrafast response times for bespoke connector design, especially in times of crisis.
This ability to provide a low cost tailored solution, together with our established core range of connectors, has contributed to significant growth in the past few years".
In addition, Edac has recently invested in the latest facilities for design, prototype and manufacture and offers experienced manufacturing and assembly operations in the Far East and Canada.
These new capabilities contribute to an improvement in lead times for production quantities, enhanced quality control and low cost solutions.
King also emphasised the crucial role played by Edac's distributors in the growth of the company: "We understand the need to support our distributors in their efforts to develop new business.
This is particularly important where design-in opportunities arise and where necessary, we will arrange for our top design engineers to meet the end customer to ensure all details of a project requirement are fully understood".
