Edac has combined the well-known benefits of the hermaphroditic Edacon contact design with a cost-effective insulator that is common for both plug and receptacle.
Edac has combined the well known benefits of the hermaphroditic Edacon contact design with a cost-effective insulator that is common for both plug and receptacle In addition to the benefits of high performance at a competitive cost, the design of this 520 series connector enables distributors and users to carry two part numbers, instead of four, to cover both halves of a mated pair of connectors, with resulting benefits in inventory cost and space saving
The connector series is available in two and three circuit variants.
A retention clip, common to both two and three-way assemblies is available for securing a mated connector to a panel position when used inline.
A variety of contact termination styles can be used, Edac will also provide insulators with contacts assembled or with cable tails crimped and assembled subject to MOQs.
