Targeting networking, telecommunications and industrial markets, the EAP-EX31 is a compact ETX CPU module carrier board featuring extensive connectivity to network and I/O devices.
Its onboard Ricoh R5C476II card bus controller supports dual PCMCIA PC-Card sockets for most popular IEEE802.11b-compliant wireless connections.
Other onboard features include one 10/100Base-Tx Fast Ethernet interface, AC97 audio, an IDE connector, four COM ports, two USB ports, a type I/II CF socket and a PCI expansion slot.
To further enhance the EAP-EX31, Evalue offers a range of SOM-ETX CPU modules such as the low-power consumption NS Geode GX1 (ESM-2440), the cost-effective VIA Eden (ESM-2643), and the high-performance Intel Mobile Celeron-M/PIII -M processors (ESM-2640).
With this selection of Evalue's SOM-ETX CPU modules available, system engineers can both shorten their product time-to-market period, while minimising system development costs.
All these features make the EAP-EX31 an ideal choice for system developers to build their applications with flexibility and scalability.
