The ECM-3610 is an ultrasmall 3.5in-HDD-size SBC with a Via Eden ESP6000 low-power processor, LCD and LVDS interfaces, AGP 4X 3D graphics, AC97 audio and dual 10/100Base-Tx Ethernet interfaces.
The ECM-5716 incorporates the Intel 855 integrated AGP high-performance 256bit GUI, 3D engine for its display capability.
The Intel 855 chipset provides direct support for 24 to 48bit LVDS flat panel displays, resulting in a low-cost and stable LCD solution.
To meet the constantly increasing demands of communication applications, the ECM-5716 comes with Intel ICH4 built-in and Intel 82551ER PCIbus 10/100Base-Tx fast Ethernet controllers.
The Intel 82551ER can be replaced with Gigabit Ethernet as an alternative option.
The onboard Ricoh R5C551 card bus controller supports both PCMCIA Type I/II slot socket and IEE1394.
The ECM-5716 features a row of edge connectors to connect external devices with less cabling, including AC97 audio, one serial port, one parallel port, four USB 2.0 ports, and dual IEEE1394A ports, which support data speeds up to 400Mbit/s for demanding multimedia processing.
Additional functions can be easily extended with one PCI slot, and one Compact Flash socket.
Incorporating powerful Pentium 4-level performance and low power consumption in small footprint form factor, the ECM-5716 is most suitable for Internet, telecommunications, voice-on-demand, image processing, medical, military, POS, POI, kiosk, ATM banking, web payphone, automation, security and other embedded applications, and is available now.
