The ECM-5715 is a 5.25in-form-factor SBC that uses Intel 82855GME and 6300ESB chipsets and supports Intel Pentium M and Celeron M processors, and up to 1Gbyte of DDR memory.

The ECM-5715 is a 5.25in-form-factor SBC that uses Intel 82855GME and 6300ESB chipsets and supports Intel Pentium M and Celeron M processors, and up to 1Gbyte of DDR memory.

This compact PC engine boasts outstanding processor performance at low power, full-featured multimedia and dual PCIbus interface capabilities.

Using the Intel 82855GME chipset with integrated graphics, the ECM-5715 supports 48bit LVDS, dual-view display and other DVO devices, delivering optimised high quality 2D/3D video and graphics performance.

The Chrontel CH7009 chip allows the ECM-5715 to support TV out and DVI transmission for high quality digital display.

In addition to its multimedia capability, the ECM-5715 also features high-speed I/O and networking.

The 6300ESB ICH Southbridge supports both 64bit PCI-X and 32bit PCI buses which maximise I/O bandwidth and flexibility to connect addon cards in communications appliances.

This I/O controller also supports dual Serial ATA connectivity which makes ECM-5715 a true native RAID solution.

Networking is provided with dual 10/100Base-Tx Ethernet chips, or optional dual 1000Base-Tx Fast Ethernet controllers.

Other I/O interfaces include four COM ports, one PCI slot and one mini-PCI socket and 16 digital I/Os for control applications.

Combining a Pentium M processor with rich I/O capabilities, ECM-5715 is ideal for communications, transaction terminal, interactive client and industrial automation applications.

The ECM-5715 conforms to Intel's EID roadmap which provides higher system stability and longer product availability of up to 3-5 years, thus offering an ideal solution for consistent system development.
