Such applications include audio desks and mixers, studio and medical equipment.

EAO's Series 96 can also be used as direct replacements for similar products now no longer available from other manufacturers.

The Series 96 is extremely versatile in the spectrum of styles and colours available.

EAO now offers two very different styles of lenses: the new smooth rounded style - available in various colours-and the original style that is available in three different widths and a range of colours.

To complement the lenses, EAO also offers an engraving service for those who require it.

Single or double illumination is possible for both styles.

The lenses incorporate either a momentary or maintained switching action and the switching elements have gold-plated nickel contacts with a switch rating of 100mA max 42VDC/VAC.

The switching element is sealed to IP67, is suitable for flow soldering and cleaning processes and the mechanical life is 5 million operations.

The pitch between pins is 2.54mm and the devices are very compact, measuring 14.5mm in overall depth (excluding pins).

The simple and robust mechanism, combined with the excellent moulded finish of the lenses, results in a high quality tactile feel to the switching action, an EAO hallmark.
