Dual-blade fan takes on hot equipment
The San Ace 40a is an all-new dual-blade DC fan for servers, storage systems, projectors, plasma displays, power suppliers and other high thermal-output equipment.
An important feature of this new fan is that the lead wires can be routed in the frame to avoid interference from 1U chassis.
Multiple units can also be mounted edge-to-edge without a gap in between, thus occupying less space in high density systems.
An improved frame tolerance is quoted as 40 +/-0.5mm.
The 40 x 28mm dual ball bearing fan delivers an impressive airflow of 16.2ft3/min (J speed) and static pressure performance of 210Pa; five lower speed variants are available to suit applications where low fan noise is preferred.
The San Ace 40 has a long life expectancy of 60kh at 60C - higher life is achievable with a reduction in ambient temperature.
The overall operating thermal range is -10 to +70C. Request a free brochure from EAO ...
