Chip cooler keeps low profile onboard
Sanyo Denki has launched the low-profile San Ace MC, a 25mm-high fan and heatsink for 1U applications.
The fan's brushless, 12V DC motor features two, high-precision ball bearings.
A copper core provides high thermal conductivity to achieve excellent thermal resistance performance.
These features make is suitable for servers and industrial PCs where reliability and cooling performance are critical.
The San Ace MC is available in two versions: single speed, or a thermal-controlled speed adjustable version that conserves energy and extends life.
The single speed fan offers 0.295K/W thermal resistance, running at 5400rev/min and producing 45dB(A) noise.
The thermal-controlled version is speed variable: the high speed of 5400rev/min at 40C or above has a thermal resistance of 0.295K/W and 45dB(A) noise; the low speed of 2610rev/min at 32C or below 0.42K/W thermal resistance and 28dB(A) noise.
The fan offers a service-life of up to 40kh, and is supplied complete with retention clip to fit the processor socket. Request a free brochure from EAO ...
