Dimmer switches provide advanced voltage
control

The advanced voltage control of the dimmer switch also allows different lighting technologies such as LEDs and filament lamps to operate alongside each other while maintaining the same levels of brightness.
In the event of a power-surge, the dimmer switch is programmed to automatically switch itself off.
Once the supply is returned to a normal condition the dimmer switch will automatically switch itself back on again.
