Sanyo Denki's range of oil-proof fans has been expanded to include a slim line 60 x 15mm version They are available in the UK only from EAO - the experts for thermal control solutions

The San Ace 60WF oil-proof fan is designed for cooling production machinery where a mist of lubricating oil is dispersed during operation.

The design benefits from an enhanced frame and impellor material.

The motor windings and PCB are completely sealed with an oil-proof resin, which creates a resistant surface equivalent to IP55.

Extra clearance between the impellor blades and the inner frame further inhibits adhesion of oil mist and dust.

The fan that dramatically reduces maintenance costs and equipment down-time.

The new 60mm frame has an airflow performance of 9 litres a second and 0.95mbar static pressure and a wide operating temperate range of -10C to +70C.

The fans are available for 24V DC operation with an L10 life expectancy of 67,000 hours at a 40C ambient temperature.

Applications include servo amplifiers, inverters, NC lathes, machine centres and other harsh environments.
