Easby Electronics is offering a range of surface mount products from film capacitor specialist, Arcotronics Ideal as a low-cost replacement for ceramics in some applications, the polyester film chip capacitors offer high stability and low ESR
The Arcotronics LDE surface mount series of film capacitors is available from Easby in values from 1000pF to 4.7mF for 50 to 630V.
The capacitors are constructed of a stack of PEN polyester film, in case sizes from 1206 up to 6054.
Designed for use in ambient temperatures from -55 to +125C, the SMT capacitors are supplied on tape and reel for automated insertion.
The self-healing Arcotronics LDE Series capacitors offer a low ESR and low inherent noise levels.
They offer high capacitance stability in conditions of changing temperature and frequency and over a long period of time.
