The new Nichicon JC Evercap Series of high capacitance electric double-layer capacitors is now available from specialist capacitor distributor, Easby Electronics.
The snap-in can-type series includes capacitance values from 15F up to 150F at 2.5V DC for use in operating temperatures from -25 to +70C.
For applications requiring low profiles, capacitors up to 39F are available in case sizes just 20mm in height.
Applications of the Nichicon JC Series include UPS systems, solar power storage, motor drive backup storage and for absorption of voltage fluctuations.
The contents of the cans is such that at the end of the product life, the user is not faced with any special disposal requirements.
