Samwha Electric now manufactures electrolytic capacitors previously branded as Samsung.
Samwha Electric now manufactures electrolytic capacitors previously branded as Samsung Samwha UK, the trading name of Easby Electronics for Samwha Electric products, is now the only UK and Ireland source of electrolytic capacitors formerly manufactured by, and branded, Samsung

Samwha Electric UK is offering an extended range of large can standard snap-in electrolytic capacitors.

In December 2002, Korean capacitor manufacturer Samwha Electric took over the manufacturing of Samsung Electro Mechanics Co electrolytic capacitor division.
Manufacturing of Samsung branded electrolytics continued until May 2003, when all manufacturing of Samsung branded electrolytics ceased.
These have now been replaced with Samwha branded product with similar or improved specifications.
Easby Electronics has been the sole UK and Ireland agency for the Samwha Electric Co since 1992.
Easby has produced an easy to understand crossreference guide between the old Samsung ranges and the alternative Samwha parts.
Former Samsung customers are invited to contact Easby for a copy of this guide, free of charge.
Alternatively, they can call on engineering support to assist them in making the change over to Samwha.
