Capacitors aim for new switcher designs

The new Samwha RP Series of extremely low impedance electrolytic capacitors have extended load life times in the range from 4 to 10kh at 105C, depending on case size.
They are available in values from 1.0 to 15,000uF for 6.3 to 50V DC.
A 1000uF 35V RP capacitor, for example, has an impedance of just 0.038ohm at 100kHz and 20C and is designed to withstand ripple currents up to 1700mA RMS at 100kHz and 105C.
With a case size of 25mm high by 12.5mm diameter, it has a rated load life of 10kh.
The new solvent-proof Samwha RQ Series capacitors offer extremely low impedance, also making them ideal for power supply applications.
A 470 microF 35V RQ capacitor is of similar size, 20mm high by 10mm diameter, has an impedance of 0.044ohm at 100kHz and 20C, and is designed to withstand ripple currents up to 1450mA RMS at 100kHz and 105C.
The rated load life is 5kh at 105C.
The new solvent-proof Samwha WF Series capacitors offer extremely low impedance, withstand high ripple currents and offer load lives up to 10kh.
A 2200uF 16V WF capacitor, 25mm high by 12.5mm diameter, has an impedance of 0.048ohm at 100kHz and 20C, and is designed to withstand ripple currents up to 1650mA RMS at 100kHz and 105C.
The rated load life is 10kh at 105C.
Samwha Electric UK offers around 60 different series of electrolytic capacitors, including SMD and large can devices, as well as plastic film and solid electrolytic capacitors.
