Eazix, will exhibit for the first time at the Embedded Technology 2004 trade show on November 17-19 in Yokohama, Japan.

Eazix the design service and original design manufacturing (ODM) arm of electronics manufacturing service (EMS) provider Integrated Microelectronics (IMI), will exhibit for the first time at the Embedded Technology 2004 trade show on November 17-19 in Yokohama, Japan.

Eazix, IMI, and Japanese software development company Embedded Linux Technology will showcase embedded software development services and product realization services in Booth D-05 at Pacifico Yokohama Annex Hall.

Eazix, IMI, and ELT collaborate from design and product development to manufacturing to assist original equipment manufacturers or OEMs in Japan bring their products to market.

Eazix provides services like embedded software development, hardware design, prototyping, and design for manufacturing; IMI takes care of volume manufacturing; while ELT handles project management and provides local technical support for the OEMs.

Arthur Tan, President and Chief Executive Officer of IMI and Eazix, says, "We are confident that our experience in embedded software development for small electronic devices and appliances and our comprehensive electronics manufacturing capabilities, coupled with ELT's know-how in embedded Linux technology and customer base, will reduce the time-to-market of OEM customers in Japan." During the Embedded Technology 2004, Eazix will demonstrate its platform for wireless multimedia adapter that enables the playback of multimedia content like movies and songs from a personal PC to a TV set or a stereo system through wireless LAN connection.
