Wireless technologies on show in Tokyo
Eazix is exhibiting for the first time at this year's Embedded Systems Expo and Conference (ESEC) to be held from 29th June to 1st July in Tokyo.
Eazix, the design service and original design manufacturing (ODM) arm of electronics manufacturing service (EMS) provider Integrated Microelectronics, today announced that it is exhibiting for the first time in the Embedded Systems Expo and Conference (ESEC) Trade Show to be held from 29th June to 1st July 2005 in the Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo, Japan.
Eazix will be exhibiting with its Japanese strategic partner company Embedded Linux Technology (ELT), a Tokyo-based software development company.
The Eazix' booth (13-10) is located in East Hall 5 in the wireless communication and RFID zone of ESEC trade show.
Aside from showcasing its embedded system development capabilities, Eazix will present its wireless connectivity platforms for Wi-Fi for wireless local area networking and high-speed connection to the Internet, Bluetooth for wireless personal area networking, and ZigBee for short-range wireless home automation and industrial applications.
Eazix will also demonstrate the functionality of its wireless multimedia adapter (WMMA) and capabilities of its ZigBee-capable module.
The Eazix wireless multimedia adapter (WMMA) is an application for high-speed multimedia content streaming over Wi-Fi, enabling easy playback of multimedia files from a PC or server to a television set or LCD flat panel screen.
The Eazix ZigBee module is a flexibile module with capability for various I/O configurations ideal for simple to complex wireless sensing and control applications for home and enterprise.
According to Chicho Mantaring, Head of Eazix' Platform Development Group: "We are excited to exhibit in the ESEC show and present to the Japanese market what we can do in the areas of embedded system development and in original design manufacturing of wireless connectivity devices".
"We are banking on our experience and expertise in embedded system development for electronic devices and appliances, our proprietary wireless solutions, and our Japanese partner ELT's knowhow in embedded Linux to come up with compelling solutions for Japanese OEMs".
