Specialist contract manufacturer EC Electronics has entered into a partnership deal with Boss Enclosures to distribute its complete range of 19in racks and smaller enclosures.

The arrangement allows both companies to offer their customers highly cost-effective single-source manufacturing solutions.

Managing Director Phil Simmonds explains: "It makes no sense for customers to spend time and money shipping housings from one supplier to another.

From the wide range we now have available, we can source the right enclosure, customise it, drill it, paint it, and if required, populate it too.

It is all about helping our customers optimise the manufacturing process".

"Our move to find a new partner in the south of England that could add value to our enclosure ranges was driven directly by customer demand", explains Peter Lishman, Managing Director, Boss.

Distinctive by their graphite grey finish, the 19in range includes robust part-assembled flat pack racks suitable for all networking, instrumentation, communication and electronic applications.

The vast Boss enclosures range now available from EC Electronics includes a wide range of metal and plastic enclosures featuring hand held, console, and instrumentation types.
