A new compact regulated and programmable high-voltage power supply delivers 15W of power at 0 to 10kV and mounts directly to a PCB, eliminating the need for a separate chassis-mounted power supply.

Emco High Voltage Corporation has unveiled a compact, regulated and programmable high-voltage power supply that delivers 15W of power at 0 to 10kV and mounts directly to a PCB, eliminating the need for a separate, chassis-mounted power supply.

The 83 x 102 x 28mm module is programmable from 0 to 100% via a 0 to 5V DAC-compatible remote programming voltage.

A 0 to 5V voltage monitor is provided to allow low-voltage monitoring of the high-voltage output.

The supply features a quasi-sinewave oscillator, internal transformer shielding and is housed in a five-sided metal enclosure to reduce EMI/RFI emissions to very low levels.

It is protected against arcs, overloads, short circuits and reversed input polarity.

It is deal for electrophoresis, capacitor charging, lasers and other applications requiring a compact source of regulated, reliable, cost effective high voltage.
