Xscale board hosts Win CE 6.0

e-con Systems can now supply a Windows Embedded CE 6.0 board support package on its Sirius reference platform The Sirius platform features a 3.5in LCD with touch screen and includes a range of I/O and expansion slot including CompactFlash connectors and a SD/MMC connector that can be used to add Wi-Fi connectivity or additional memory, USB host and client, two serial ports, 10/100 Ethernet, Bluetooth and audio in/out

For storage the platform includes of 8Gbit of NAND Flash and provides file system support on the same on Windows CE.
Added to this Sirius has an external camera module which has drivers for Windows CE 6.0.
The reference platform is designed to cater various requirements such as navigation, audio and multimedia rich consumer electronics, industrial handheld devices for data logging, handheld cash transaction terminals, video conferencing terminals, video streaming nodes, portable media players, surveillance terminals and information kiosks etc.
The board is designed around the Marvell (formerly Intel) Xscale PXA270 processor running at 520MHz and is powered by Linux and Windows CE.
