As part of a significant expansion policy, electrochemical manufacturer Electrolube is relocating its research and development, administration and sales bases to its Midlands head office.

As part of a significant expansion policy, electrochemical manufacturer Electrolube is relocating its research and development, administration and sales bases to its Midlands head office.

The move brings all of Electrolube's operational departments into one facility alongside its manufacturing site.

"The restructure is focused on consolidating the excellent reputation and success of Electrolube over the past few years with a view to expanding operations in the near future", comments Commercial Director Adrian Hanrahan.

"Pulling all of the company's functions into one, central facility creates a strong and sound platform for the long-term future of the company.

In doing so, we are able to more effectively concentrate on our growth strategy".

Electrolube's offices in Wargrave, Berkshire, will officially close in May.

While personnel have been offered roles at the head office, some will not wish to make the move north and this will create job openings in the Midlands to fill their positions.

The company, which is a division of the HK Wentworth group that also includes AF, is now offering a substantially expanded product range and has seen steady growth in market share.

As a result of the rationalisation, it will benefit from improved communications and cost-savings, helping to optimise efficiency and ensure an improved and consistently reliable service to customers.
