Antistatic treatments and cleaning products
Electrolube has launched a comprehensive range of antistatic treatments and cleaning products.
Green conformal coating is easy to apply
Aquacoat is a water-based conformal coating from Electrolube that combines excellent physical and electrical properties with extremely low VOC levels and a nonflammable formulation.
The brand new range is being supplied direct from Koki's new Copenhagen plant, with plans under way to manufacture from here in the very near future.
It includes a choice of alloys based on tin/silver, tin/silver/copper, Castin and tin/zinc/bismuth to provide a variety of melting points and easy optimisation to the higher and extended thermal profiles required in assembly.
Each alloy can also be delivered in a variety of no-clean media, including halide-free, high activation, RMA equivalent, and a high speed printing option.
All mediums have been developed to work in both nitrogen and air reflow, with guaranteed high definition printing down to 0.4mm.
The wide and highly flexible product range ensures the elimination of voids and superior joint integrity while, for more demanding printing parameters, particles sizes can be adjusted.
A choice of liquid fluxes for lead-free wave soldering are also available, with a low VOC version to reduce organic volatiles.
The range is completed by a lead-free cored solder wire compatible with both paste and flux residues in no-clean rework situations.
In response to impending Japanese legislation, Koki undertook a major research and development program into lead-free solder paste two years ago, to which it allocated its entire R and D budget.
Working in close collaboration with JEIDA and a number of major Japanese customers, the new range was developed within Koki's 'constant improvement' framework.
With supply now localised from the company's Copenhagen plant, Electrolube benefits from Europe's excellent supply infrastructure, providing substantial advantages over companies that import product from the Far East.
