Electrolube will introduce a comprehensive new range of high performance static control solutions at Nepcon Brighton The Staticide range of static detectors and antistatic treatments and cleaning products is an inexpensive, easy-to-use and highly effective method of achieving long-term static control

Electrolube was recently appointed by ACL as a master distributor for Staticide products worldwide.

Useable on virtually any material, the Staticide range is designed to protect all ESD-sensitive areas for the production life of the product, resulting in increased line speeds, quality improvements and the reduction of wastage and rejections.

All products meet the static decay performance criteria outlined by the NFPA-56 and MIL-B-81705 specifications.

The full range includes a wide variety of products suitable for different applications.

These include: ready-to-use dilutions for porous and non-porous surfaces and for mats and table tops; static-dissipative floor finish systems for both tiled and hard floors; clean room treatments; spray coatings; a hand lotion; cleaning wipes for keyboards and screens, telephones and lenses; electrostatic location meters; and even an ESD-safe waste basket.

Nontoxic, nonflammable, nonstaining and completely biodegradable, Staticide is extremely safe to use.

It has been proven to be effective in relative humidity below 15% and can be used during injection moulding, film and sheet extrusion and thermoforming.

Suitable applications include, for example, electronic components, instrument clusters, IC tubes, conveyors, illuminated signs, plexiglass, silk screened polycarbonates and plastic packaging.

Each treatment is available in a variety of pack sizes dependent on the product to suit individual user requirements.
