In addition, eight-wire touch panels can operate in higher temperatures and humidities without losing performance.

This makes eight-wire touch panel systems suitable for industrial computers, point-of-sale and medical application and compact mobile terminals.

Key features of eGalax eight-wire controller include: up to 2048 x 2048 resolution; support for four- and 25-point calibration; drivers available for Windows 98, 2000, NT4, Me, XP and CE.net, RedHat Linux, DOS and iMac; and support for multilanguage Windows utilities, multiple monitors and rotating monitors.
