The X5 II HSP is an inline stencil and screen printer especially designed to further reduce cycle times in production lines with high volumes and high throughput rates.

The X5 II HSP is an inline stencil and screen printer especially designed to further reduce cycle times in production lines with high volumes and high throughput rates New hardware and software reduce cycle times by more than 1s and inspection cycle times by as much as 60%

This high performance printer features many elements of Ekra's well known, proven technology, for example the concept of fixed stencils and the precise alignment of the board or the substrate by Ekra's patented EVA vision alignment system which is equipped with two CCD cameras.

A triple section transport system, which has proven in other high performance Ekra printers, significantly reduces the cycle times.

Additional advantages that contribute to the optimisation of the production line include a fast and easy program set-up as well as a quick changeover.

The standard version of the X5 II HSP is already equipped for high-mix production switching between screen and stencil printing.

All necessary parameters are stored in the print program which reduces changeover times.

User-friendliness helps to reduce mistakes in operating to a minimum.

Like all Ekra machines, X5 II HSP excels through highest reliability and very low maintenance requirements.

A triple section transport system allows for short transportation within the printer.

Substrates are directly provided by the machine which avoids or reduces cycle fluctuations caused by down time for cleaning the printer, refilling of paste etc.

Here, the unprinted board is positioned next to the print nest and can be printed without delay by the handling system.
