Loads of choice for power testing
Offered in modular and rack mount configurations, the SL Series of electronic loads provides the widest selection of loads for DC and AC input from 75 to 1800W.
"We believe this new series represents a significant leap forward in ease of use and functionality for our customers".
Offered in 5 to 150kW configurations, the series provides the widest selection of standard product in this power range.
Using a modular architecture, the SG family is easily upgradeable and expandable to adapt to changing requirements assuring maximum value over time.
Its fast load transient response of less than 1ms for a 50% load step and low ripple and noise make the SG series ideal for a large variety of applications in automatic test equipment, process control and research.
The SG family is available in two models, the SGA and SGI.
The value-priced SGA provides essential control capabilities like front panel programming of voltage, current and overvoltage protection along with a bright 3.5-digit LED display.
The SGI provides more sophisticated control features such as constant power mode and powerful sequencing functions.
A graphical vacuum florescence display along with soft keys dramatically increases the ease of use of the extensive SGI capabilities.
An added benefit of the graphical display is its ability to support several international languages.
The SG family is currently offered in 60-600V models, with 3U-high 5 to 15kW models or 20 to 30kW models in 6U-high chassis.
Up to five units may be paralleled using built-in master/slave connections to achieve up to 150kW in the smallest rack space in the industry.
5 to 50V models will soon be available.
Optional features include a 16bit GPIB/RS232C interface (RS232C is standard with the SGI version) and five-channel isolated analogue control.
The SG series is available for 208-220, 380-400 or 480V AC three-phase input.
These new SG models are CE marked and tested to UL1012 and C-UL standards.
All SG models come with a 5-year warranty and the reliability and dependability of the Sorensen name.
