A touching display for big-screen gamers
Elo TouchSystems has launched a new computer-grade 19in CRT touchmonitor designed specifically to enhance player experience in gaming and amusements.
The 1247L features a novel injection-moulded mini bezel and watertight seal.
The field replaceable mini bezel forms a watertight faceplate seal to keep liquids and dirt away from the electronics.
The seal is about 0.5mm thick - thinner than a coin - and is virtually invisible.
This makes the 1247L ideal for many small profile public access and industrial applications.
"All of our LCD chassis monitors have a long lasting product cycle because the enclosure is controlled by Elo's specifications", says Seosamh McNally, Elo's European Display Product Manager, "so future panel improvements are possible without external changes".
The 1247L comes standard with the superior picture quality of IntelliTouch pure glass surface wave touch technology for finger or gloved hand operation.
For larger projects, Elo's SecureTouch vandal-resistant surface wave technology or AccuTouch five-wire resistive technology are possible.
As with the other LCD monitors in the family, the 1247L has a multilingual remote on screen display (OSD), multiple mounting options including rear mount or VESA mount, autoswitching power supply, and worldwide agency approvals.
3D electronic design files are available to OEMs incorporating Elo chassis monitors.
